Congratulations to 8 of our students who have visited Nottingham University today to 'Graduate' from their Spanish Learning Journey.
Maddi, Quinn, Varshneyee, Thomas Farbrother, Dylan, Shiloh, Ruby and Jovial were exceptional role models today and school are very proud of their participation in the course and their achievements.
We learnt a new language today- Japanese ! We also toured the languages study areas.
Thank you to all parents and carers who supported us with Sport Relief on Friday.
We all competed as different countries with 2 teachers and a mix of children from Foundation 2 to Year 6! We worked as teams to score the highest points in a variety of challenges such as football dribbling, basketball shots and egg and spoon!

A big thank you to our representatives at Primary Parliament ( Shannon , Charlie, Ella and Jennifer) you were excellent ambassadors for our school - we are very proud of you . Ella and Jennifer will be in the Evening Post on Monday 13th March to tell you all about it .

The ECO team will be visiting a farm to continue our work on 'Food For Life' .
We will all be doing a' Topic Team ' Sports Relief afternoon on 18th March .
Year 5 will be visited by Nottingham University to continue their work on the Brain Science project.

'Cool Pete Science workshops' around all elements of 'Space' were enjoyed by all and culminated in an official 'Rocket Launch'.

YR 1 - Parents Phonics Meeting
Foundation Stage had a 'Mini Beast Road show' learning all about different Mini Beasts.
Years 1/2 went to 'The Yorkshire Wildlife Park ' and learnt about different animals and their habitats.
Years 3/4 went to 'The Birmingham Science Museum' and learnt lots of interesting facts.
Everybody celebrated 'World book Day' by engaging in lots of fun and exciting reading based activities.
Everybody got involved in 'Working Together' with their grown ups making 'Tornado's in a bottle' .
Foundation Stage had a 'Stay and Play' with their grown ups
Year 4 went to Top Valley Academy to watch their performance .
Over 120 children's mums came to Mother's day tea and work share.
Year 4/5 learnt all about 'Human Rights' from Nottingham University .
Year 3 started their 'Fit For Life' Program
