  • European Archery Championships

    Two groups of children from Key Stages 1 and 2 visited the European Archery Championships which are being held in Nottingham. They got to watch the qualifying rounds and meet many of the Team GB competitors.

    Well done to Year 2 for your excellent learning attitudes on our Learning Away at Wollaton Hall & Park.  Many people commented on your superb behaviour both at Wollaton and on our bus journeys.  You were all a credit to yourselves and our school.

  • Year 2 Morning Group - Celebrating Together

    A huge congratulations to the 20 children in Year 2 for their exceptional attendance (above 96%) at our Morning Groups since February.  On Wednesday, these children and their parents enjoyed a well-deserved European breakfast linking to our current topic to say WELL DONE and THANKYOU for all your hard work and commitment to improving your learning.

     

    Morning groups for Year 2 will continue for targeted children after half-term.

  • Year 3 and 4 perform I Believe I can Fly

    WOW! What a fantastic performance by Year 3 and 4 of the R Kelly hit- I believe I can Fly.

    They performed as an ensemble with Mr Burton playing the piano and worked as a team to give us an exhilarating and inspirational performance. Thank you and well done.

    Class 6 enjoyed an afternoon finding out about the importance of water and how we use it in our lives.  We gave ideas as to how we can save water in the future.

    Over 23 families attended our Stay & Play event in Foundation this morning. We found out where different European bread comes from. We played with bread dough and tasted many types of bread. Many thanks to everyone who came along.
