Learning Away and Enrichment
At Henry Whipple, we have a dedicated learning away and enrichment programme.
Children from all year groups are given half termly Learning Away and/or enrichment experiences to supplement our knowledge based curriculum and make the learning real , practical and give all children life-long memories.
We believe all children should have an equal opportunity to experience hands-on learning outside the immediate school environment. We know from experience that the children's learning is positively enhanced by these opportunities.
The table below shows our main 'Learning Away' and enrichment programme for all year groups although there are also addition learning away experiences to places such as Waterstones, Nottingham University and Bulwell gardens.
