Our Science lessons stem from the concept of CURIOSITY. We want our children to have an interest in Science both in lessons and as a wider concept in terms of how the world around us behaves. Our curriculum is implemented in a way to build knowledge about the different learning areas of the subject whilst thinking about the question of 'what if..?'
The children learn how to observe and investigate accurately through careful experimentation (WORKING SCIENTIFICALLY) so that they can use evidence to explain what is happening in the world they are part of.
We are currently in the process of incorporating Science into a wider arc of STEM across school.
