Mrs Gunn- Cooking

Friday 24th November.

Today we made our own version of pizza. We kept it very simple but healthy.

Using Tortilla wraps as a base, we spread tomato puree over them, sprinkled grated cheese and ham on one of them.

We rolled the wraps , cut into 5 separate pieces and baked in the oven for 15 minutes.

The overall opinion was, " The best pizza ever."

Friday 10th November

Today we made three different dips.

We were making our own dips to see which we enjoyed the most and how healthy they could be, but super tasty.

On one of our topic team afternoons, we will be making dips again to sell alongside cucumber, celery, carrot and bread sticks in our fabulous tuck shop after school.

With the help of our amazing Parent Champions, we have been able to make healthy snacks and sell them to raise money for JLT, who will then provide equipment, books and lots of other exciting ideas for all our children to enjoy.

So keep checking to see when this will be.nosurprise

Fruit kebabs.

Today we have made healthy, delicious kebabs using our favourite fruits.

Green Grapes,

Red Grapes,

We put them on a kebab stick making sure we followed a pattern so that they were evenly shared out.

Our fantastic Parent Champions came in to help us, and they even sold them after to raise money towards equipment for all our students.

A big thank you to Cameron and Sophia's mum and Savannah's mum. nosmiley
