Design technology at Henry Whipple...
Design technology at Henry Whipple gives children the opportunity to learn and apply practical skills. Through designing, making and evaluating their own work and the work of well-known designers and manufacturers. Children will learn about the importance of healthy eating and learn practical cooking skills in order to create sweet and savoury dishes. Children will understand the importance of health and safety whilst working.
Week beginning 1st February - Whole school project – My Home.
This week everyone has been planning to build a model size house. The children have looked at the features and the layout of their own home and drawn up some plans. Including materials, they will need to use to make the model house.
Below are a few example of some carefully detailed designs from some of our home school learners.
