E-safety - Smart Rules

Hey you! Are

 you s.m.a.r.t on your computer?

Yes you! Are you really smart when you are on the school computers? Well think about it.  What do you think s.m.a.r.t means? Let’s think what does it mean?

Safe: well are you safe online? The s means that you  need to be safe when you are on the internet and  don’t tell people private information eg: address , house number and phone number.

Meeting: well that means that if you are online you don’t arrange to meet someone if you haven’t really know them and your parents don’t know them so  don’t talk to strangers online.

Accepting: well that means that you don’t accept email from people you don’t even  know.

Reliable: well that means that you can’t always get your hands on the most reliable information. You never know what is right and what is the wrong .

Tell an adult if you are worried about anything.

Looking for patterns and using them to make predictions:

A model of a Mayan temple which was made as part of a homework project:

How to build a mexican temple

What you need to build a mexican temple:

You will need card board boxes and paint , glue,  sellotape and big pieces of paper AND A BLACK PEN.

First you need to have  the paper flat down. then put the biggest box on first BUT YOU NEED TO glue IT DOWN. THEN KEEP PUTTING THE SMALLER ones on AND GLue THEM DOWN.

WHEN YOU ARE FINISHed, YOU WILL NEED Another CARD BoARD BOX. THEN you NEED TO cUT THE SIDES DOwN AND SELlotape IT ON THE 3D BOX ON THE OthER SIDE TOo .

NOW IT IS THE MESSY PART. YOU WILL NEED GReY  PAINT AND PAiNT IT ALL  BUT WHEN YOU FINISH YOU WILL NEED TO WaiT. WHEN IT IS DRY, use THE BLACK PEN TO DRAw BLOcks ON IT TO LOOK LIKE ROCKS  AND THE ON THE SIDE DRAw LINeS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE STEPS AND THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE A MEXICan TEMPLE.

We completed research about Mayan masks then designed our own masks using the information that we had found.

How can you prove that light travels in straight lines?
